
Chandni Kher
Director, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs
Ms. Kher is an experienced senior project manager and environmental assessment and permitting specialist with over 15 years of experience working in the mining sector across Canada. She has led regulatory applications for many large, high profile mining projects in BC and Yukon, and was part of the consultant team that developed the Casino Project's initial environmental assessment application. She possesses a deep technical knowledge of impact assessment, regulatory strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Ms Kher spent several years working as a consultant and helping her clients to achieve their environmental goals on time and on budget, and excels at leading multi-disciplinary teams through all aspects of the regulatory life cycle, from exploration to baseline programs to operations to reclamation. Ms. Kher holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto and a M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Guelph. Her Master’s thesis focused on using DNA sequencing to identify novel species of single-celled organisms.
